There’s a common theme with my clients: they care too much about what others think.
While considering others is admirable, it’s time to give fewer fucks.
Here’s why:
My clients love working with me because I’m both a high-fiver and an ass-kicker—nurturing yet direct. And trust me, I’ve come a long way from being a people-pleaser. Playing it safe wasn’t serving me or anyone else.
I get it. You’re juggling leadership, family, friends, pets, and more. Trying to please everyone pulls you away from your strengths.
When you worry about judgment, you feel unworthy and small. All those fucks you give? They’re standing between the current version of you and the version of you that feels happy AND successful.
Think about where you’re holding back. A meeting where you’re too quiet? A moment where you feel less than? A fellow parent judging your choices?
Where are you hiding?
I’m not saying to give zero fucks—but maybe, just give fewer.
