Channel your inner Elsa.
Leaders are trained to add.
Add a new hire.
Add a new initiative.
Add a new system.
Add more of yourself.
And for a while, that works.
Until it doesn’t. LET IT GO!
Because most of the leaders I work with aren’t stuck because they aren’t doing enough. They’re exhausted because they’re carrying too much – much of it out of habit, guilt, or the quiet fear of “if I don’t do it, who will?”
Here’s the question I want you asking this week:
What is one small thing I could stop doing that would create more space, money, or momentum immediately?
Not delegate.
Not improve.
Not optimize.
Release. LET IT GO!
Every unnecessary meeting, report, process, or “just in case” task is quietly draining your most valuable resources: energy, focus, creativity, and presence. And when you’re a leader and a parent, the cost is doubled.
This isn’t laziness.
This is strategic subtraction.
Real scaling isn’t about more effort.
It’s about clearer intention.
Try My Clear / Claim / Commit Check-In
If you want something practical, start here:
CLEAR:
What is cluttering my calendar, my team, or my mind that no longer moves the needle or feels good?
CLAIM:
What would I do with that time, energy, or money if I got it back?
COMMIT:
What is one thing I am actually willing to let go of this quarter?
Then ask yourself the questions most leaders avoid:
If I stepped away for 30 days, where would the cracks appear first? What does that reveal about where I’m still trying to control instead of empower?
You don’t need more on your plate.
You need more space around the right things.
That’s where clarity lives.
That’s where growth happens.
That’s where you finally get to breathe again.
