What you really want in life won’t just happen because you want it badly enough. It won’t even happen because you’ve taken a few trainings, had some insightful conversations, or even hired a coach.
To achieve real success, you need to commit time and effort. You have to follow through on what you say you’re going to do. And let’s be real—that’s often the hardest part!
Dreaming and envisioning your future is important. It’s fun and helps set the stage for manifesting what you want. But how do you actually make it happen? You schedule it. You decide exactly what you’re going to do and when, and then you get down to work.
“But I don’t have time!” I hear you saying. I call bullshit.
It’s not enough to just show up and talk about it. You need a concrete plan for how you’ll get there. And, yes, you have to work at undoing the things that are holding you back (spoiler: one of those things might be you).
Remember the quote, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always be where you’ve always been.” Truer words were never spoken.
Are you constantly burnt out because you refuse to draw boundaries? Feeling stuck but too scared to step outside of your comfort zone? Craving more but too afraid to speak up?
Then stop being surprised and frustrated when nothing changes. Your brain is wired to keep you away from what it perceives as risky — which, let’s face it, keeps you doing what you’ve always done. It’s going to resist every step you take towards doing something different.
But here’s where you FIGHT BACK. Picture the future you. The ideal version of yourself. What are you wearing? What are you doing? Who’s around you? How are you feeling?
Now, ask yourself: What would that ideal version of you do in this moment? Would you stay quiet in a meeting when you have something important to say? Would you shy away from negotiating for what you’re worth? Would you hesitate to make bold connections with people who can open doors?
What’s one real action you can take today? Not just talking about it, not just showing up—what’s one thing you can do that will move you closer to your goals?
Schedule it. And then do it.
